Hengyang science and Technology Museum

Hengyang City proposed to build a science and Technology Museum as early as 1986, but because of limited financial resources, it has not been able to do so. At the meeting of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party committee last year, it was decided to transform the former Municipal Science and technology training school into a transitional Municipal Science and Technology Museum, which was included in the municipal key project and invested in full by the municipal finance. The project is divided into two parts, one is to transform the original 3300 square meter building, the other is to build a new 500 square meter building. At present, the project has entered the actual implementation stage, which will integrate the functions of science popularization facilities display, Youth Activity Center, science and technology consultation, training and academic exchange.
