Zhaowanghe Park

Zhaowanghe Park in Heze City starts from Wanfu River in the South and ends at beiwaihuan road in the north, with a total length of 8 kilometers and a total area of 203 hectares, including 97 hectares of water surface area. From south to north, the section from Zhonghua Road to north outer ring road is divided into four landscape areas: Urban Park, cultural and leisure green space, diversity theme park, wetland ecological protection and tourism area.

Eight municipal bridges will be built in the whole section of Zhaowang River Park, all of which will imitate the structure and appearance design of world-famous bridges, and 21 landscape bridges will be built at the same time.

Zhaowanghe park is the most modern, local characteristics and ecological value in Heze City. It is an important landscape belt integrating culture, entertainment, leisure and tourism. The administrative center, cultural center and financial and commercial center of Heze are built along the coast from south to north.

Construction background

In July 2004, Heze invested 360 million yuan to implement the first phase of the project from Danyang road to the forest exhibition hall, realizing the full navigation from Zhonghua Road to the forest exhibition hall. Tourists from Tianxiang park can enjoy the scenery by boat all the way to the China forest exhibition hall. After landing, they can visit the peony garden in Caozhou.

Xintiandi Park (A plot of Zhao Wang River comprehensive service area) and New Century Park (B plot of Zhao Wang River integrated service area) are designed by the Hangzhou Garden Design Institute, and the park building is fully integrated with the surrounding environment, which embodies the principle of people oriented and harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

Xintiandi park has a total investment of 54 million yuan, completed in late June 2006, with a total construction area of 8064 square meters and a green area of 20967 square meters. It is divided into five sub regions: from south to north, the main water is the high-end club, the elderly leisure service area, the main entrance to the water shade square, the children playful area and the service building area on the south side of Bayi Road.

Xintiandi park is integrated with Tianxiang Park, Ji Lu Yu border revolutionary memorial hall and Zhao Wang River Park. Small bridges, pavilions, green trees, flowers, waves and elegant surroundings form the most modern landscape, local characteristics and ecological value of Heze City, which is an important landscape belt and ecological corridor integrating culture, entertainment, leisure and tourism.

Honorary awards

In 2010, zhaowanghe park landscape project won the municipal golden cup award, the highest Municipal Engineering Quality Award in China, and was selected as the National Water Conservancy Scenic spot.
