Jiangbeizui Church

Located in the Central Park of Chongqing jiangbeizui Central Business District, the former site is located at No. 13, mitingzi, Jiangbei City. In the fifth year of Xianfeng (1855) of the Qing Dynasty, father Li Fangji bought a private house (named Boji Hall) as a church. It was rebuilt in 1881. In 1928, Shang Weishan, bishop of Chongqing diocese (French, consecrated as bishop of Chongqing diocese on September 21, 1926), issued a decree calling on his followers to donate money for the construction of the current Jiangbei Teresa church.
