The Haishan pavilion was founded because the Qing Dynasty adopted the class soldier system to protect Taiwan. The class soldiers took turns to defend Taiwan once every three years. In the name of the original tribe, the class soldiers established a temple in Anping as a place for gathering and worshiping the gods. Originally, Anping had five banbing Guildhall, but now only Haishan Guildhall is left. It was acquired by the Tainan Municipal Government in the Republic of China in 64. In 74, it was planned to be "Anping local museum". There are quite a lot of folk exhibits in it. Anping's representative totem, sword and lion, has a rich collection in it!
