Bay Park

The park is divided into seven scenic spots: Tianyuan, Diyuan, Linyuan, Caoyuan, Shuiyuan, Binhai scenery and Xingguang Avenue, and is divided into North Park and South Park by Xingguang Avenue. The open tap Star Plaza directly leads the atmosphere of the sea to the land and connects the inner lake of the city. Facing the sea, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful sea.

Bay Park

Haiwan park is located in the west of Hubin West Road, Xiamen Island, between Xiamen West Sea area and Yuandang lake. The total area of the park is 200100 square meters, with flat terrain. The park overlooks the sea in the west, Yuandang lake and Bailuzhou Park in the East, Haicang Bridge in the northwest, and beautiful Gulangyu Island in the sight.

Development history

In 2001, Xiamen Planning Bureau held a design competition for the park, and also selected the winning scheme. However, due to various reasons, the construction of the park has never started. Three years later, when the park was about to be built, we found that the original plan did not seem ideal. In this case, Duoyi landscape and Xiamen Landscape Design Institute were entrusted to complete the design of the Bay Park.

The open tap Star Plaza directly leads the atmosphere of the sea to the land and connects the inner lake of the city. The underground floodlight is set for the ground lighting of the star stepping square, which can easily penetrate the light from the holes of the perforated steel plate, and can be seen from afar with the stars. The floor lamps on the five sub axes are arranged in array along the road centerline. The pure blue light spots are eye-catching and pure, guiding the road and guiding the direction of the sea like navigation lights.

Zigzag line metaphors the tide of the sea, roads, pruned and non pruned plants crisscross, confrontation and unity, full of power. Soft or angular terrain makes the earth sculpted, from which you can feel the infinite power of the sea and the universe. Hedgerows of different heights, aquatic plants of different heights and big trees create a space with rich layers, from which you can feel the mysterious atmosphere of the sea and reflect the unpredictable nature of the sea. In the open forest and grassland, you can relax, be free, have a peaceful and happy mood, and feel the warmth, tolerance and broadness of the sea.

In order, the park uses the simplest landscape elements to create rich and mysterious space changes. At the same time, it makes the space have good humanization and flexible use, making the park become a humanized public park with seaside characteristics in Xiamen.

With the opening of Binbei overpass, more and more people will go to Haiwan park to relax. The landscape construction of the Bay Park has been basically completed, and the construction of supporting facilities is also in the final stage. The first wetland park was introduced to the south of the Bay Park. Here, people can intuitively and vividly know all kinds of aquatic plants and popularize the knowledge of Wetland Park.

In addition to the Wetland Park, a large swimming pool with complete functions is planned to be built near the Bay Park. The swimming pool has a total construction area of more than 5000 square meters and a total investment of more than 20 million yuan. The construction project includes a 25 meter long, 21 meter wide, 8 Track standard indoor swimming pool, a 50 meter long, 25 meter wide standard outdoor swimming pool, a small children's swimming pool, spa, gym, etc. It is understood that this is also the first natatorium in our city to be built by means of membership fund-raising.

Facing the sea, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful sea. Bay Park takes the blue ocean as the carrier and applies the humanized concept to the specific landscape elements. At the same time, the buildings in the park adopt the modern European architectural style, which complement each other with the park and become a unique landscape. According to the plan, the Bay Park will be built into a city club in Xiamen. According to the analysis of industry insiders, this can not only increase the urban green space, improve and reshape the urban landscape image and space quality, improve the identifiability of urban environment, but also meet the needs of social interaction and outdoor leisure of urban residents.

Haiwan park is located in the west of Hubin West Road, Xiamen City, between Xiamen Xigang and Yuandang lake, with a total land area of 20hm2 and a flat terrain with an average elevation of 5.0m.
