Soochow University (Shuangxi campus)

In July 1954, Soochow University achieved remarkable results. The "Ministry of education" of the Taiwan authorities approved the establishment of Soochow University Law School, with four departments of law, politics, economics and accounting, and a department of foreign languages attached, becoming the first private university in Taiwan. After decades of hard work, Soochow University has become a well-known comprehensive university in Taiwan. Its law department is well-known and is considered one of the best law schools in Taiwan. Interestingly, the English name of Soochow University is Soochow University, which also has frequent exchanges with Soochow University in mainland China.
