The mosque, also known as moslem mosque, is located at No. 30, the junction of the Moslem street and the Moslem street in the central half of Hong Kong Island. As the oldest mosque in Hong Kong, the temple reflects the history of Muslims in the colonial era of Hong Kong, and also symbolizes the diversity of religious culture in Hong Kong, with high historical value. It is now listed as a first-class historical building in Hong Kong by the Antiquities and monuments office, while its religious residence is listed as a second-class historical building in Hong Kong.
