Yunyang Longgang National Geopark

Chongqing Yunyang Longgang National Geopark was established in September 2005 with the approval of the Ministry of land and resources. The main landscape types of the park include karst Tiankeng in Longgang and water landform in Shizhu gorge, South Three Gorges and Huangling gorge, as well as biological landscape and cultural landscape with strong Tujia customs. The main landscape of the park is Longgang Tiankeng. The wall of the Tiankeng is nearly 90 degrees up and down. It is an irregular ellipse on the plane. The distance between the long axis and the short axis is 304-326 meters and 178-183 meters, with a depth of 335 meters. This depth ranks third in China and fifth in the world.
