San Tian Zhu

There are upper, middle and lower Tianzhu temples in Tianzhu Mountain of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, which are collectively called three Tianzhu temples. Xiatianzhu is about 1 li away from Lingyin Temple. The temple was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and named Fajing temple. It was expanded in the Sui Dynasty and renamed Tianzhu temple. Zhongtianzhu has more tourists because it doesn't charge tickets. Built in the 10th century, shangtianzhu temple is the birthplace of Guanyin in Baiyi, China. It has a history of more than 1000 years. It is the largest temple among the three Tianzhu temples.
