Biyunfeng

Biyun peak is located in cangshuipu Town, Heshan District, Yiyang City, Hunan Province. It was called xiongxiang mountain in ancient times, also known as Qingxiu mountain and Qingxiu mountain. It is one of the 72 peaks of Hengyue mountain. The peak is 502 meters above sea level and more than 100 kilometers around. Among the meandering peaks of Heshan mountain, one mountain is unique. It is really "one peak cuts off the sky, and the clouds soak the clothes". Looking at the appearance of the whole mountain, it looks like kuanglu in Jiujiang, so it has been called "xiaolushan" since ancient times. It is taken from Li Bai, a great poet of Tang Dynasty. Biyunfeng is a quiet mountain with steep cliffs, luxuriant herbs and flowing waterfalls. It is a typical representative of Yiyang's tourism resources because of its unique natural scenery and long history of cultural relics. There are Leiyin temple at the top of Biyun peak, Qingxiu temple on the hillside, Sushui Zen forest in the valley, Huxi bridge at the foot of the mountain, and more than 20 places of interest, such as SHIZIKOU, xinghuaping, frog drum stone, shanpaiding, horseshoe seal stone, Siping and Bajing, Jiufeng and Shiao. For thousands of years, many celebrities and sects (Buddhism and Taoism) have come here to give lectures. Li Gang, the famous Prime Minister of the Southern Song Dynasty, visited Huguang and wrote poems to record his success, which has been handed down to the present day. Zhang He, a famous Confucian in the Southern Song Dynasty, and Zhu Xi, a master of Neo Confucianism, admired the beauty of Bifeng and gave lectures here. Since the Song Dynasty, many literati have left a lot of excellent poems here. Biyun peak is now a new temple and a road around the mountain, and the mountain road to the peak is also widened and rebuilt. The scenery is still the same, the temple is still the same, it can be a place for sightseeing and vacation. In ancient times, it is said that Biyun peak is more than 1000 meters above sea level. Because three great immortals practiced on it, they were sat down by more than 500 meters. So now the altitude is 502 meters. Then the three great immortals changed their positions and went to Hengshan Mountain.

history

It is said that in ancient times, Dayu, who controlled the water for the people, visited biyunfeng to observe the water potential of Dongting in order to control the flood in Dongting. Up to now, there is still a yuwangtai. When Li Gang, the famous Prime Minister of the Southern Song Dynasty, was appointed as the Xuanfu historian of Huguang, he passed Yiyang and visited Biyun peak. He saw that the shape of the mountain was similar to Lushan Mountain in Jiangxi Province and the spirit of the Qing Dynasty was beautiful. So he wrote a poem

Among the white clouds, the wind falls, the rocks and the flowers are all over the road.

The peaks and ridges are slanting and covered by their own weight. It's really xiaolushan.

Biyunfeng is a "little Western Heaven" for summer practice, with its majestic and beautiful mountains, luxuriant forests and bamboo trees, silver waterfall falling over the cliff, clear spring and fragrant flowers all year round. In the Ming Dynasty, another "Leiyin Temple" was built on the top of Biyun peak. Xia Shouqi, a poet of Qing Dynasty, once wrote a poem to express his feelings

Come to the pure land with fate, and stay for half a day.

There is no summer in bamboo fields, but early autumn in empty mountains.

Clouds and mists, the characters are quiet.

I'm a stranger in the world.

It is said that Li Bai, the great romantic poet of Tang Dynasty, once traveled here with his sword. When he stayed in cangshui post house at night, he was impressed by the wonderful scenery of blue clouds and left the eternal masterpiece "Bodhisattva man" in the post house

The forest is deserted, and the smoke is like weaving,

The cold mountain area is blue with sadness,

The dusk comes into the tall building,

Some people are worried.

The jade steps stand empty,

The birds are anxious to return.

Where is the return journey,

The long Pavilion is shorter.
