Zhang feizhai

The West peak of Mangdang Mountain is called zhangfei village by local people. The two walls inside and outside the West Peak are made of natural mountain shape and bluestone. The South remnant height of the Waizhai wall is 0.5-1 m, the wall width is about 1 m, the North-South length is about 250 m, and the perimeter is 900 m; the North-South length of the Neizhai wall is about 40 m, the East-West width is 25 m, and the perimeter is 130 M. on the west wall of the Waizhai, there is Zhang Fei's "drinking horse spring", which is said to be the place for Zhang Fei to drink water and horses. The spring is round, with a diameter of 4.5 M. According to Yongcheng county annals, this is "the place where Liu Bei of the Shuhan Dynasty left Xuzhou and Yuan Shao and Zhang Fei met." According to Zizhitongjian, Liu Bei took possession of Xuzhou after the death of Mu taoqian in the first year of Xingping (194 AD). Yuan Shu was not happy. In the first year of Jian'an (196 AD), "Yuan Shu attacked Liu Bei to fight for Xuzhou, and his envoy Sima Zhang Fei guarded xiapi Yuan Shu and Lu Bu Shu advised them to attack PI and Xu Zhu to provide military supplies. Bu Daxi led the army by land and water. Beizhonglang general Danyang Xudan opened the door to welcome him. After Zhang Fei's defeat, bu Lu Bei's wife and General Li's family came to an end. " After the defeat, Zhang Fei fled to Mangdang Mountain to build a camp and recruit troops.

On the west wall of Waizhai, there is Zhang Fei's "horse drinking spring", which does not dry up all the year round. It is said that it is the place where Zhang Fei takes water and drinks horses. The spring is round, with a diameter of 4.5 meters. In the center of the village is a cliff stone inscription with regular script and fuzzy handwriting. Only the words "Kao Zhi Zheng Shi" and "December of the 13th year of Zhiyuan" can be seen. The south of the gate of the mountain village is flat. It's a military field for Zhang Fei. There is a stone eye in it. It's said that Zhang Fei used it to insert the battle flag.
