Cliff plank road

Cliff plank road, as the name suggests, is the plank road on the cliff. Cliff plank road is located in Jiufeng Mountain, 35 kilometers west of Ningwu county. It is academically known as the forehead like danxiayan landform.

At the end of Ming Dynasty, Li Zicheng conquered Beijing, and the fourth Prince of Chongzhen emperor came here to become a monk. His name was xiao'an, which preceded his division. According to the inscriptions, at that time, "the fish and the Dragon listen to the Dharma, the ape and the crane participate in Zen, which is invincible", and "Ningwu Fu Zhi" is called "the most popular resort". On the top of the mountain are the statue of Xiaoan and the pagoda of Xiaozu built in the Qing Dynasty.

The first thing you can see is the simple and majestic mountain gate. Through the gate, you can walk up the stairs. All the way, there are trees, birds singing, flowers fragrant, and water murmuring. Luohan hall is the first building on the cliff plank road and the starting point of the plank road. The Luohan hall, with a width of three rooms of 9 meters and a depth of 10 meters, is built according to the mountain. The building cleverly uses the natural stone cave behind. There is a statue of Guanyin in the cave of the 18th arhat Dynasty, which leads to the name of the hall. Next to the Luohan hall is a stele that was rebuilt during the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty. The stele records the prosperity of the mountain in the past. Along the plank road, I turned around a dangerous place and drilled through a stone cave. There was a main hall facing south and North, the Pilu hall. Pilu hall is three rooms wide and 10 meters deep. There is a statue of the Buddha of viluzana. Pilu Buddha is the Dharma body of Buddha. From piludian to the East, sometimes relaxed and happy, sometimes fearless and palpitating, sometimes stooping and crawling, sometimes squatting and moving, endless scenes in the mirror and endless dangerous plank road. There are 15 caves on the plank road with a length of more than 1000 meters, the longest of which is 15 meters. At the end of the 15 meter long cave, the Xichan Temple rises above the 300 meter stone wall depression, which is the residence of the abbot of the temple. It is said that the Great Buddha Hall was originally a two-story loft building. It is very spectacular, but unfortunately it has been destroyed. From the site of the Great Buddha Hall to the northwest stone steps, gradually to the peak of Xiangfeng mountain. A magnificent four story stone pagoda was built on it. This is Xiaozu pagoda. Xiaozu pagoda is a tomb pagoda. The fourth Prince of Chongzhen emperor became a monk here after Li Zicheng conquered Beijing. He was named xiao'an. He took the lead in building the pagoda in 1712. The original body sculpture of Xiaoan in the tower base. Around the pagoda, the ancient trees are towering, and the exotic grass is fragrant. On the first and fifteenth day of every month, people from all over the world always pay homage to Xiaozu, which is said to be very effective. It is quite strange that in recent years, when developing tourism resources and repairing the plank road, a larch tree in front of the tower, which has been dead for decades, has turned green again and sprouted new shoots.
