Taihe temple, also known as Zhenwu temple, is located on the lotus peak at the top of Qingliang mountain. In 1579, the magistrate of Yan'an City, Hong Jiyuan, spent three years on large-scale expansion, adding several halls, casting a 4-meter-high bronze statue of his ancestor, a 2-meter-high bronze bell, adding stone steps to mount Taihe and building the "three day gate". The scale of Taihe mountain has reached its peak. During the reign of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, Taihe temple was slightly damaged due to war, and it was restored in the reign of Guangxu. In 1938, when Japanese aggressors bombed Yan'an, Taihe mountain was also destroyed. Only one hall, a bronze statue of the founder, a bronze bell and a mountain gate were left.
