Meimeifeng National Forest Park

When you climb Meimei peak, you may have a clear sky and a vast sky; you may have a white fog and a vast sea of clouds; you may have snow covered mountains and plain silver makeup; you may have beautiful mountains and lush trees. Guo Moruo, a literary giant, once praised meimeifeng like this: "the natural and elegant long hair, the dignified and symmetrical facial features, the plump Rufeng, which marks the prime of youth All of them are poetic and imaginative. " Meimei peak, also known as san'e mountain, is located in the south of Shawan District, Leshan City. It is the third peak of Emei Mountain, with an altitude of 2027 meters. Because it looks like a beautiful woman lying on her back, it is called "Sleeping Beauty" by Guo Moruo. Beauty peak landscape is famous for Shawan stone forest. Meimeifeng stone forest is located between meimeifeng and Rufeng at an altitude of 800-1337 meters. It covers an area of about 10 square kilometers with beautiful mountains and rocks and lush plants. The stone forest is composed of 15 scenic spots: Feiquan, Manjing, bonsai, bamboo forest, Mijing, Wanfo temple, terracotta forest, Shimen, Lianhua peak, Shilin street, zuiqbao, karst cave, Baihua garden, Sheshen cliff and JINZI peak. In the scenic area, the stalagmites on the stone peak are like animals, like gods, like motionless and still, with thousands of shapes; the stone bonsai rattan entangles the stone, the trees mingle with the stone, the stone trees vie for glory, the strange peaks and different stones are in various shapes. There are stone leopard, stone monkey, stone elephant, goddess of foam water, long sleeve Avalokitesvara, fairy formation, beauty shuxiu, snow lotus blooming and other natural landscapes. In addition, there are karst caves passing through the mountains and clear springs and waterfalls around the rocks in the park. It integrates "mountains, rocks, peaks, caves and springs" into one. It has the characteristics of high, precipitous and beautiful karst landscape. It is a unique charming natural park in Southwest Sichuan.
