Peace Temple

It was built in the Tang Dynasty and supervised by Yuchi Gong, a famous general of the Tang Dynasty. It got its name from Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty. The whole architectural layout of Heping Temple skillfully uses the natural environment. The temple is located under the Longwei depression of Longfeng Mountain, with steep peaks and beautiful scenery. Heping temple is a large-scale quadrangle structure, with 99 and a half sacred halls and monk's houses, with a construction area of more than 1500 square meters. The halls are well arranged and hidden among the towering ancient trees. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Beijing.

It is said that chici Heping temple was built at the end of the Three Kingdoms and the beginning of the Jin Dynasty more than 1000 years ago. It is said that a little sister-in-law nunnery in Shuangshan of Baiyang city was destroyed due to fighting. The monks raised two white pigeons and landed on the top of Longfeng Mountain. Bus routes

1. Take bus 833 (Nankou section) at Deshengmen and get off at Nankou station, then transfer to huatacun station at chang11 road;

2. Take bus 345 at Deshengmen and get off at Changping south street station. Transfer to Huata Village Station on chang11 road;

3. Take the train to Nankou station at 7:00 a.m. at Beijing North Station, and then transfer to huatacun station on Chang 11 road;

4. Get off at Nanshao station on Changping line and transfer to huatacun station on chang11 road.

Self driving route

Take the south entrance of Badaling Expressway and the exit of Chenzhuang. Follow the road sign of Tianshou cemetery. After arriving at Tianshou cemetery, go straight West for 400 meters and turn right.
