Perfume River Scenic Area

The fragrance river scenic area is located 38 kilometers southwest of Nanzhang County, Hubei. It is made up of Perfume River Canyon and Sanjing Zhuang, and the temple of the Buddha. There are grotesque and hieroglyphic rocks, caves, waterfalls, streams, ancient and famous trees, Shanzhai temple sites, etc. In particular, the waterfall has the most remarkable characteristics, with dozens of waterfalls distributed in a short area, such as Triassic waterfall, colorful waterfall and Eagle waterfall. The most peculiar "colorful waterfall", with a drop of more than 100 meters, is composed of five clear springs. From 8 am to 11 am on a sunny day, the sunlight shoots down from the forest, and at the opposite angle of the water droplets splashed by the waterfall, it shows a complicated appearance: Red, orange, yellow green, green, blue, purple, like a rainbow in the sky, crystal light flickers, and the auspicious atmosphere overflows the mountains.

The fragrance river scenic area is located in Xue Ping Town, Nanzhang County, 38 kilometers away from the county seat, with an area of 26.75 square kilometers. We have developed more than 50 scenic spots, including colorful waterfalls, three cascades waterfalls, eagle's waterfall, Phoenix Tail waterfall, ivory waterfall, perfume waterfall, bonsai garden, crocodile Island, ancient canal and whirling car. The scenic spots are coherent, and the scenery is reflected in each other.

In 2018, it was approved by the State Council as a national key scenic spot and national AAAA scenic spot.

The fragrance river scenic area is 60 kilometers away from Xiangyang City, 21.5 kilometers long from east to west, 5 km wide from north to south, and 110 square kilometers in total area. Besides the Perfume River scenic area, there are Putuo Ngan scenic area, Gan Jing Cave Scenic Area, the scenic area of Sanshui village and Sanjing village.

The most peculiar is the colorful waterfall. From 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on a sunny day, the spray and water drops from the colorful waterfall are red, orange, yellow, green, green, blue and purple beads under the refraction of sunlight. The landscape is unique. It is now a national A-level scenic spot and one of the "ten best natural landscapes" in Xiangyang City. After visiting the 2002 national news photography conference, the reporter called it "Chutian Jiuzhaigou".

There are precious wild Chimonanthus praecox, Lagerstroemia indica, Taxus chinensis, Magnolia, etc. in the valley. In addition to the seasonal change of Cotinus coggygria, Wuxie, maple, as well as a large number of colorful plants and woody flowers, the four seasons are gorgeous and colorful, with different seasonal colors, especially Zhangzi, deer, civet, badger, fox, macaque and Otter in the old forest Small wild animals, pheasants, Caragana, Yumei and other birds make the whole scenic area more flexible and novel, and enrich the connotation of sightseeing. Chen Jiahe, the name of Perfume River, is one of the three tributaries in the upper reaches of the man river. Its upper reaches are Mao Shan River (West of the cave). The main scenery of this scenic area is waterfalls.

Mineral water and underground river, its representative karst cave is: perfume hole: one of the sources of Perfume River (Chen Jiahe). Because of the mountain fracture, water flows out of the cracks, and its exports are erect on the sides, only 1-2 meters away, and more than 100 meters deep into the mountain, and ten meters high. From the crack upward, Tian Ruo is a first-rate sight. In the middle of the cave, the mountain dissolves to form a "skylight", which is called "the eye of the mountain hanging from the sky" by the common people.

Chule Cave (Qinglong copper): the cave is flat and waterless. A milky stone similar to Qinglong is formed at the top of the cave. When you enter the back hall from the small cave, the stalactite wall, stone waterfall and stone mantle are well developed, the milk tongue is hanging, the percussion is rhythmic, and you can play different songs. This is one of the characteristics of the cave. It is suggested that chule cave be named or more elegant.

Jinniu Cave: located in Xujiagou, the entrance looks like a bull's head. When entering the cave, it is vertical up and down, and the cave is divided into chambers. There are caves in the cave. The karst development is complete, but some of them are damaged. Due to the difficulty in entering the cave, the internal landscape is unknown.

Tongs hole, tongs hole: located in zhoujiashan, from the river bed to the hole height difference of more than 350 meters, tongs hole, open, stone curtain hanging wall, the hole is divided into two layers. The small Tongkou hole is located above the big Tongkou hole. Due to climbing from the cliff, the road is very dangerous, so it is difficult to get insight.

In addition, there are Luohan cave, Shilin cave, Shizi cave, DiCui cave, and two adjacent tiankengs in Liushuping.

Three, the natural attractions of the Perfume River Scenic Area: the mountain area is unique in the scenic area. In the eagle's waterfall, there are steep walls, such as shears, vertical heights and 100 meters of precipice, which are more spectacular. The peak of the mountain peaks is abrupt. It is like the dangerous journey of Tang San Zang's Western Paradise. In addition, there are crouching lions in Broussonetia hollow, stone monks in karst, dressing tables in dumb beach, etc.
