Panlong Lake

Panjiakou Reservoir is located in the west of Kuancheng Manchu Autonomous County of Chengde City, 25 km away from Kuancheng county and 135 km away from Chengde city. It is a scenic spot composed of 100000 Mu water area, 150 square kilometers of ecological mountain field and the Great Wall landscape of Ming Dynasty. It is a man-made lake formed by the impoundment of Panjiakou Reservoir, a key water control project of "diverting Luan River to Tianjin". It is named for its aerial view of the lake, which is like a giant dragon winding around.
