Yulong Snow Mountain Ski Resort

Lijiang Yulong Snow Mountain Tourist ski resort is located at the east foot of Yulong Snow Mountain, only 20 kilometers away from the ancient city of Lijiang, which is rated as "world cultural heritage" by the United Nations. It is the closest and warmest natural alpine ski resort to the earth's equator. As soon as you enter the boundary of Lijiang, you can see its bright silver shadow at first sight.

Construction history

Yulong Snow Mountain is the highest point you can reach. You can look up at the main peak nearby. Although it is close at hand, its altitude is 5596 meters. It is one of the most difficult peaks to climb in the world. It is still the virgin peak. There were 17 climbing expeditions at home and abroad, but they failed.

Standing in the ski resort, you can also overlook the scenery around the snow mountain, and have a panoramic view of Ganhaizi, heiheishuihe, yunshanping, Maoniuping, etc. In the ski resort, you can set foot in the sea of snow. The snow here is pure in quality, crystal clear in color and absolutely pollution-free. If you grasp the entrance of the snow, the feeling of freshness and cleanness is incomparable in the earthly world at the foot of the mountain. You can also browse the wonders of modern glaciers. This is a natural museum with complete types of glaciers in China. The color of the glacier is aquamarine. When you look down from the east edge of the ski resort, the top of the glacier is covered with white snow, the edge is green, and the middle is blue. Its shape is irregular prism.

The first phase of the ski resort project has been completed, including one towing ski ropeway, two ski conveyor belts, imported PWS snowmobile from Canada, snow motorcycle, snow machine made in the United States, and other supporting ski machinery. Now it has entered the management class. Characteristics of snow field

The ski resort is 4500-4700 meters above sea level. It is covered with snow all the year round. It is 1000 meters long from east to west, north to south

Best travel time: to Yulong Snow Mountain

The best season for ski resort tourism is from November to March, when the snow scenery of the snow mountain is the most beautiful and the snow is thick, which is the best season for skiing.

Special reminder: you can rent down jacket or oxygen bag on the mountain, 20 yuan, you have to pay 100 yuan deposit first (however, in fact, most tourists do not need to pick up oxygen, please decide according to their actual situation). In the clinic on the top of Yulong Snow Mountain, there is a kind of medicine called Rhodiola, which is specially used to treat altitude sickness. It costs 50 yuan per bottle.

Recommended restaurant: Naxi Pavilion Restaurant: it is located at the corner of Xinhua Street, Sifang street, next to Wuhua Book garden. Because there were three Ju people here in the early years, it was originally called "Kegong square". From a distance, you can see the shop with yellow background and scarlet letter on the street, which is called "Naxi Pavilion". Its appearance is old and solid, with a long string of red lanterns on both sides of the gate. The furnishings in the restaurant are also very detailed. From a small point, we can see the intention of the owner: the menu with a wooden cover, the soft inside page, and the magazine inserted in the upside down jeans. The food of Naxi Pavilion is delicious and the price is acceptable. The price of four dishes is about 50 yuan or 60 yuan.
