Bailuzhou Park

Bailuzhou Park is the largest fully open square park in Xiamen. It is divided into Central Park and West Park, covering an area of 59000 square meters. It was opened in 1995 with the theme of returning to nature. The statue of egret goddess, 13.6 meters high, is a landmark sculpture in Xiamen. There are pigeons on the square in front of the statue, which are close to visitors and naturally warm. Yuandang lake, formerly known as Yuandang port, was originally connected with the sea. In the 1970s, it was reclaimed from the sea to build the West dike from the floating island to the East.
