Zhanbao brothers Jinshi memorial archway

The memorial archway of the Jinshi brothers is located in Xiama street in the east of Songyang county. It was built in 1496, the ninth year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty. It was built by Zhan Yu, a Jinshi of bingxu branch in Chenghua, and Zhan Bao, a Jinshi of Bingchen branch in Hongzhi. Green stone carving, imitation wood structure, four pillars, three stone buildings, Xieshan. The square is 8.52 meters high and 6.9 meters wide, with "brother Jinshi" and "father and son Xianke" engraved on both sides of the forehead respectively. The archway is a provincial cultural protection unit with grand structure and exquisite workmanship.
