Buddha trail cave

Built in 1840 A.D. in the gengzi year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, the trace cave was made of rock drilled by Zen master haiguang. Maitreya Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva and eighteen Arhats are worshipped in the cave, which are orthodox Buddhism. At its heyday, there were more than ten monks. Maitreya is one of the six Bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism and the successor of Buddha. The reclining Buddha in the cave is the largest stone carving Buddha in Guangzhou. It is vivid, kind and smiling. It is said that touching the reclining Buddha can bring good luck and all the best.

Buddha trail cave is a place where gods and Buddhas visit and gather happily. Inside the cave, there are magnificent rocks, winding mountain paths, tall and straight old pines, and secluded green bamboos. If you go up the stairs, you can see the green vines twining the trees, the birds singing on the branches, the Penglai light path, and the wrestling on the road. It's very impressive. Buddha trail cave includes Koi moon searching platform, moon worshiping platform, fairyland, pine tree, immortal inviting Pavilion, honeysuckle garden, bonsai stone, Tiannan treasure mirror and other scenic spots for visitors to visit.
