Niuyuzui original ecological scenic spot is located in Damaoshan, Qingyuan City. It is only 80 km away from Guangzhou and 10 km away from Qingyuan City. It covers an area of more than 3800 mu.

It was officially opened on June 1, 2005. Through the mode of "culture + creativity + tourism", the scenic spot has become one of the main representative scenic spots of Qingyuan leisure tourism. It has also won the "Guangdong Youth Science Popularization Education Base", "Guangdong eco-tourism demonstration base", "Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences tourism research base" and "Qingyuan youth natural ecology science popularization education base" ”"The most popular ecological scenic spot in Guangdong" and many other honors.

Niuyuzui primitive ecological scenic spot is located in Damaoshan, xiutianluo village, Dongcheng District, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province. It covers a total area of 5100 mu, with a water surface area of 6.6 hectares, 60 km away from Guangzhou and 10 km away from Qingyuan City. The original subtropical wild Botanical Garden opened on June 1, 2005. The rigorous data of biodiversity comes from Chinese scientists. The field investigation of plant experts has confirmed that there are more than 2000 kinds of wild plants and more than 100 kinds of wild animals on niuyuzui mountain. There are a number of rare plants under class I and II national protection. At the same time, the development of niuyuzui mountain is mainly based on the protection of native vegetation.

Main attractions

There are three waterfalls along the stream. The highest Shuangma waterfall is more than 100 meters long. The clear water one by one is like a pearl hanging on the mountain. Among them, "Yulong Lake" is the most famous, because in the huge stone wall at the mouth of the lake, there is a white jade layer about 20 cm wide and several Zhang long, which is as graceful as a jade dragon drinking water. According to experts, the probability of such a natural phenomenon is less than one in 100000, which is also one of the best in the world. In addition, we can also enjoy the rare human and natural things along the stream. For example, the oldest altar of sacrifice and prayer in China is "bogongzai", and the "holy spring" that doesn't come out of water in rainy season and comes out of water in dry season. Exploration projects include Tiesuo bridge, exploration dragon, etc. The wonderful scenery is different in four seasons. In spring, you can enjoy the "sparrow flowers" in Manxi, and in autumn, you can enjoy the red leaves in Manshan, which is not Xiangshan but Xiangshan.

The second part of the scenic spot takes "niuyu Lake" as the main line. With the theme of leisure, entertainment and vacation, the lake covers an area of about 6.67 hectares. Among them, there are more than 10 pleasure bridges on the water, natural rock swimming pool, rowing, grass skiing, garden barbecue and Koi pool.

There are two remarkable characteristics of the original landscape: one is that there are many ancient vines, and the other is that there are many ferns. Niuyuzui scenic spot is suitable for this kind of characteristics.

There are more than 20 species of ancient vines, with the thickest perimeter of 66 cm. There are hundreds of ferns, among which the most valuable one is Alsophila spinulosa, a national first-class protected plant with the name of living fossil. "Niuyu Lake" is surrounded by 350 ancient pine forests (about 200 years old), 100 mu of fir forests, 30 mu of wild gangren and 20 mu of Yinhua mountain. The scenery of the whole lake and mountain is very attractive. When you stroll or yacht in it, you can see the clear lake water, blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and emerald pine, which will make you forget to return.

Tourism information

Niuyuzui original ecological scenic spot is designed into two parts based on the business concept of "green + health + fun". The first part takes the scenic spot of "the first river in Lingnan" as the main line, with the theme of viewing primitive plants and enjoying primitive scenery, which has the stimulation and fun of exploration. The journey takes about 2 hours. It's up the Suoxi river. It's full of strange flowers and plants, old trees and old vines, strange rocks, gurgling water and fragrant flowers.

Bus routes

1. Taxis in Qingyuan City are divided into class I and class II vehicles, all of which are priced according to the meter. The meter price is 4 yuan from 3 km, and 0.5 yuan per 250 meters after 3 km. Take bus No.24 to niuyuzui in Qingcheng District, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province.

2. Route for backpackers: take a bus from Guangzhou to Qingyuan City, and then take bus No.24 in Qingcheng district (xinyijia) to niuyuzui.

3. From Guangzhou to Qingyuan: you can take the shuttle bus to Huanshi West Road provincial bus station, city bus station and luochongwei bus station. There are regular buses from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the ticket price ranges from 15 yuan to 25 yuan. The whole journey is about 1.5 hours.

Self driving line

1. It's about 110 kilometers from Guangzhou to Qingyuan. On the North Ring Expressway, go through Guangqing overpass, take Guangqing expressway, niuyuzui and Yinzhan to Qingyuan. It takes about 1 hour to drive directly to national highway 107.

2. Guangzhou shangbeihuan Expressway passes through Guangqing overpass and takes Guangqing Expressway to Qingyuan. The whole journey is about 110 km.

3. Starting from Shenzhen - Guangzhou Shenzhen Expressway - Ring Expressway - Guangqing Expressway - yinzhanchu (yinzhanquan) - 107 national highway.

4. Starting from Foshan: Fengcheng bridge, Qingyuan, at the exit of Leping, Sanshui, Lubao, Sanshui and Datang.
