Dayou mountain

Dayou mountain scenic spot is located at the junction of Fukou town in Shaxian County and Chenda town in Sanming county. Rare volcanic landforms coexist with kashite landforms. The highest altitude is 1276 meters, towering high above the clouds and dominating the peaks. The eruption of volcanic magma has carved countless cliffs, hieroglyphic rocks and natural caves. Dayou mountain, located 15 kilometers northwest of Sanming City, is at the junction of kengyuan natural village, Changxi village, Chenda Town, Meilie District, Sanming City and Gaizhu village, Fukou Town, Shaxian County, covering an area of 12 square kilometers. Mountaineering route

There are two roads to Dayou mountain: Gaizhu village, Fukou Town, Shaxian County and Changxi village, Chenda Town, Meilie district. Only professional climbing teams can use climbing ropes to climb.

The other is a thousand year old road. The Qingshi Road, which was gradually established in the Song Dynasty, has now been paved with standard stones. Other sections are said to be well preserved. But in recent decades, the temples on the mountain are deserted, pilgrims and tourists are rare, and the ancient road is covered with moss and weeds.
