Royal Lake Tourism Ecological Zone

Royal Lake, also known as Huangjia lake and Qixian lake, is located in the north of Ziyang District, Yiyang City, Hunan Province. During the wet season, the lake covers an area of 30000 mu, with a water storage capacity of more than 8 million cubic meters, known as the "natural oxygen bar". It is said that during the Qing Dynasty, when the emperor toured the south of the Yangtze River, he heard that the water of Qixian lake had magical effects of curing diseases, keeping fit and prolonging life. When the emperor went to explore, he saw the vast expanse of the lake and the clear water. He personally picked up a handful of the lake water and drank it. The taste was sweet and refreshing. At that time, the dragon heart was very happy, so it was named Royal Lake.

Royal Lake is located in the golden node of "Changsha Zhangjiajie tourism economic belt", with good location conditions and accessibility. It is only 12 km away from the interchange of Xingfu canal in Yiyang on Changsha Zhangjiajie expressway, 12 km away from Yiyang urban area, and the whole process is connected by four lane national first-class highway, 90 km away from Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, and the whole process is connected by expressway. It's only an hour's drive from Changsha City to Royal Lake, and one and a half hours' drive from Huanghua International Airport and high speed railway south station to Royal Lake.
