Yanmen pass

Yanmen pass is an important part of the world cultural heritage great wall and a national key cultural relic protection unit. It is an ancient pass with the longest history, the most frequent wars, the highest popularity and the widest influence. It is known as "the first pass in China". In 2001, Yanmen pass was announced as one of the fifth batch of national key cultural relic protection units by the State Council of the people's Republic of China. Yanmenguan scenic area is a frontier culture, Great Wall culture and pass culture tourism area with historical relics and sites of Yanmenguan military defense system as the main landscape resources.

Yanmenguan is a traditional play of Henan opera, one of Yang Qichao's representative plays.

Performance revolution

This play is one of the representative plays of Zhao Yiting and Yang Qichao, especially with "Crying City" as a fold, which pays equal attention to singing and acting.

Master Chen Suzhen of Henan Opera and Mr Zhao Yiting of Henan Opera premiered "Ba Lang Tan Mu" in the late 1930s.

Luo opera, Juan opera, Yuediao, Wanbang, huaidiao and Dapingdiao all have this repertoire.

Huiying, guashuai, zhashun, and crying city are all examples of this play.

Plot outline

In the battle of Jinshan Beach, Yang balang (Yanshun) was captured and renamed Wang situ. He married Qinglian, the princess of Liao Dynasty. Song and Liao fought in feihuyu, and balang thought of his mother, so Qinglian saw through it. He was forgiven by quarrel and took the place of stealing order. When balang explored his mother's empress and wanted to return, Meng Liang and Jiao praised him for his great righteousness, stole his command arrow, cheated to open Yanmen pass and defeated Liao soldiers. Empress Xiao knew and wanted to kill Qinglian. Bilian begged for forgiveness and went to Songying with Qinglian to challenge. She was captured by balang's wife Cai Xiuying and Meng Jinbang and stayed in Songying. Balang and Qinglian fled without permission. They were recovered and imprisoned by Cai Xiuying. Yang sirang asks empress Xiao for an order to fight. He plans to take the opportunity to come back and let the matter go. Empress Xiao and her nephew are tied to the gate to kill her. She Taijun also pretends to tie Qinglian and Bilian to demonstrate to empress Xiao. Balang cry City, beg for interest, do not listen. Empress Xiao was afraid that her two daughters would be killed, so she had to release Yang Silang. The Yang family took advantage of the situation to attack Liao City, but empress Xiao begged for peace.
