Bibei Yao Village

Bibei, formerly known as "biebei", is a town inhabited by Yao people in Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County. Bibei Yao village belongs to Guoshan Yao, a branch of Yao people. It moved in from Hunan and other places in Sui and Tang Dynasties. After the Ming Dynasty, because of famine and war, a large number of Yao people migrated to Guangxi, Yunnan and other places, then spread to Southeast Asia, and moved to Europe and the United States. In the green pine and fir forest and the hillside of terraced fields, there are Yao villages, which are well arranged and built according to the mountains. They are beautiful and unique.

Bibei yaozhai scenic spot is located in the mountains 54 kilometers northeast of Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, 56 kilometers away from Shaoguan City. Because there is a small mountain like the back of a turtle, it is called "turtle back". Because the strokes of "turtle" are difficult to write, it is mistaken as "Bi back". 16 kilometers before Bibei is Huanglong scenic spot. Here, the peaks are green, with distinct layers and picturesque landscapes.

Bus: there is a state-run bus from Shaoguan north passenger station to Lechang City. The early bus is 6:40, the last bus is 18:00, and the last bus is 18:30 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can get off at guitou town. The ticket price is 8 yuan. It's about 7 yuan to sit in guitou town and go to Bibei yaozhai scenic spot in Ruyuan.

Self driving: Shenzhen - via Guangzhou Shenzhen Expressway - Huocun exit - (Guangzhou) to North 2nd Ring Expressway - to Beijing Zhuhai Expressway - to Shaoguan South (Qujiang) exit to get off the Expressway - to Lechang direction - via guitou town - Ruyuan Bibei yaozhai scenic spot.
