Zuoquan Shuguang coin museum is located in Zuoquan County, Shanxi Province, the old revolutionary base area and the hometown of folk art. Development history

The museum was founded by Wei Jianzhong, who loved to collect ancient Chinese coins since he was a child. After more than 30 years of hard work, under the care and support of the CPC Zuoquan County Committee, the leadership of the county government and collection associations at all levels, the first private Coin Museum in Shanxi Province, Zuoquan Shuguang Coin Museum, was founded on June 22, 2001.

Collection

There are more than 3000 kinds and 10000 pieces of coins of different dynasties in the museum. All kinds of coins, commemorative coins and coins from more than 50 countries, from the empty headed cloth in the spring and Autumn period, the square foot cloth in the Warring States period, the Dao coin in the Qin Dynasty, the five baht in the eastern and Western Han Dynasties to the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, even after the founding of new China, are amazing. Among them, the dishonoured cloth in the spring and Autumn period, the Qing Dynasty Tongzhi Qianbei 20 Bureau coin set, the stone printing plate used by the Bank of Southern Hebei, the East China Field Army hundred yuan military coupons, etc. are all treasures of collectors, which have high collection, viewing and research value. Together with the coins, there are more than 500 representative marriage letters with the brand of different times, as well as more than 2000 revolutionary precious cultural relics (volumes) that "trace back to history and show future generations", among which there are many fine works and treasures. This achievement also makes it into the forefront of the rare marriage book collection in China.

Social evaluation

Since its opening, the museum has been invited to participate in national and provincial exhibitions for many times. Especially on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, at the special invitation of Shanxi collectors association, he participated in the exhibition of revolutionary cultural relics collected by the people of Shanxi Province. Liu Zhenhua, former governor of Shanxi Province, and other leaders came to the exhibition booth to give high praise and won the only "special award" of this exhibition. On the eve of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, recommended by the Shanxi provincial collectors association, the museum represented Shanxi Province to Beijing to participate in the "we always follow the party - welcome the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, national folk collection exhibition" in the central hall of the Chinese Revolutionary Museum, which was highly praised by Chinese and foreign guests and won the excellent award of this exhibition, further expanding the left power of the old revolutionary base areas Publicity. In addition, CCTV also made a special trip to the museum to shoot the empirical information about the financial history of our party's revolutionary base areas, such as "the stone print edition of the Bank of Southern Hebei", which was broadcast on CCTV's second program on November 4, 2002. On June 18, 2004, the first annual ranking list of China's collection circles of "Ya Guan Cup" was announced in the auditorium of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference in Beijing. Zuoquan Shuguang coin museum was awarded the only "special honor award" by the ranking committee for its multi exhibition and rich collection. During the "double sixties" commemorative activities held in Zuoquan County, the museum successfully held a special exhibition of "looking at the millennium old coins and appreciating the wedding customs" in the publicity and cultural center building of Zuoquan County, which provided a good patriotic education for the people of the whole county, especially for the majority of teenagers. It has played a good role in expanding the publicity popularity of the old revolutionary base area, and will also bring new vitality and vigor to the prosperity of Zuoquan county's culture. At present, the museum has become a unique and beautiful scenic spot in the tourism industry of Zuoquan County, the old Taihang district.
