Covering an area of 14007 square meters, it was completed and opened to the outside world on November 20, 1995, with a total construction area of more than 1300 square meters. King Pan is the ancestor of Yao people. Yao people should build Panwang hall to commemorate their ancestors. After entering the county, the Jianghua Yao people once set up several Panwang halls, but they were destroyed by the wind and rain. In order to remember their ancestors, reveal their traditional culture, develop tourism resources and promote economic development, according to the wishes of the Yao people, Panwang hall, which was originally built in aunt Dashan, was relocated to Tuojiang town. The relocated Panwang hall is located in the beautiful pingtouyan Park in Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, covering an area of 21 mu. The terrain is low, medium and high in order, corresponding to pingtouyan.

Introduction to scenic spots

Panwang hall faces south and is a concrete antique building. After getting off at the spacious parking lot, you enter the 8.9-meter-high hushengmen (inscribed by Zhao tingguang, vice chairman of the CPPCC Yunnan Provincial Committee) with the Yao family's stilts on both sides. Along the cobblestone road, stepping on the green stone steps, it's like walking into the long history of the Yao people. The more you go forward, the easier it is to see the ancestor of the Yao people, King Pan, greet you in the hall with a smile and talk about the long history of the Yao people with you. And then up the stairs is the pavilion style back hall. From a distance, the whole Panwang hall is well arranged, with red walls and tiles, resplendent and magnificent; from a close view, it is majestic, simple and elegant, carved beams and painted buildings, antique, with strong national characteristics. It can be called the first Hall of Yao nationality in China.

Architectural features

It is 26.2 meters long, 17.8 meters wide, 20.23 meters high, with a construction area of 466.36 square meters. Fei Xiaotong, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and a famous sociologist, wrote the three golden characters "Panwang hall" above the main door and the words "the ancestor of Panwang should take it with you, and you can't forget the woody water source" in the hall. The throne in the hall is 4.5 meters high. King Pan was smiling and amiable, with a crossbow and a drum beside him. On the wall are four large-scale murals reflecting the history of the Yao nationality. In the East is the picture of Panwang hunting, which is an epitome of the hunting economy in the primitive society of the Yao nationality. In the west is the picture of sailing across the sea, which reproduces the living scenes of the ancestors of the Yao nationality in their uncertain migration. In the north are Yao people's long drum dance and dumani, which reflect the rich and colorful culture of the Yao nationality. Liang's painting is based on Yao's Legends "Qianjia cave" and "Nanjing Shibao cave", as well as the beautiful scenery of Yao mountain, rich in content and pleasing to the eye.

There are about 1200 square meters of painted boards, 930 dragons, 608 phoenixes, 346 Su style paintings, 232 ethnic costumes, 78 Yao landscapes, and countless flowers, plants, birds and animals. If you look at it, you will feel lofty and far away. If you enter the painting, you will forget to return. The hanging tower style wing room is the exhibition room of Yao's history and culture. It displays inscriptions of leaders at all levels, Yao people's production and living utensils, sacrificial rites, wedding customs, cultural activities, military objects and photos, which vividly reproduces Yao people's long history and culture.

King Pan festival of Yao nationality, also known as huanpan Wang Yuan and Tiao pan Wang, is a festival for Yao people to sacrifice their ancestors. There are many origins of the King Pan Festival, the more popular is: in the ancient times, there were two big mountains in the mountains, close to each other, close to each other. Suddenly one day, there was an earth shaking thunder in the sky. A crack opened in the two mountains at the same time. A tall man named bulosi came out of one mountain; a strong woman named Miluotuo came out of another mountain. They were married. They are the first parents to create the universe.
