Lixue Academy

"Lixue" of Lixue academy comes from the allusion of "Chengmen Lixue" of song Youwu and Yang Shi. Founded by Mr. You Jiarui, a calligrapher and painter, collector and founder of Shoushan stone desk and cliff carving, it is located in Fuzhou Yongtai Chengguan, on the beautiful bank of Dazhang River and Longfeng Mountain, covering an area of more than 2000 square meters. Stacked cliff, bluestone for the wall, glass for tile, pebble pavement, winding path, antique pattern, scattered, bamboo shade, fresh air, flowing green overflow, withered trees spring. There are mountain and River Art Museum, the first floor of Chi, baiyanzhai, qianshiyin room, gengdu Pavilion, daonanxuan and so on, which are full of cultural taste.

One giant inkstone, Wulong Renrui inkstone, weighs more than 300 kg; a great work "a dream of durian flowers" has 4.84 million characters; more than 10 central leaders have inscribed; hundreds of ancient inkstones; hundreds of calligraphy and paintings; Shoushan Stone micro carving desk cliff stone carving in qianshiyinshi room. Ten thousand volumes of thread bound ancient books. More than 200 calligraphy works of celebrities are engraved in lixueyan and lixuebeilin. Lixuetang deduces the origin of Cheng Zhu's Neo Confucianism. Yongyang Pavilion displays the historical development and ethnic customs of Yongtai. The abundant and beautiful exhibits can be called "the first humanistic scenery of Qingyun Mountain", which is listed as an important scenic spot of moral education base and Qingyun Mountain tourism. Juxianyuan is a good place for tourism, leisure, reading and preaching.
