Chengdu Industrial Civilization Museum

Chengdu Industrial Civilization Museum is located on Jianshe South Road in the eastern suburb, covering an area of 74 Mu and an area of 8700 square meters. It is the first new theme park museum in Southwest China, which integrates the exhibition of industrial civilization history and cultural industry and uses old factory buildings for renovation.

According to reports, the museum, located on Jianshe South Road in the eastern suburb, covers an area of 120 mu. It is the first theme park museum transformed from an old factory in our city. It mainly shows the history of industrial enterprises in the eastern suburb of Chengdu in the 1950s-1980s by means of scenes, pictures, words and objects. The familiar sculptures of the builder (originally placed in Shuinian River on the first ring road), steam engine locomotives and machine tool workshops can be seen here.

Collection

The museum displays the ancient and modern history of handicraft industry and industrial civilization in Chengdu, focusing on the brilliant eastern suburb industry represented by electronic industry in the 1950s-1980s. The museum is divided into indoor exhibition area, outdoor exhibition area and creative industry park. The outdoor exhibition area is equipped with sculptures such as aerial crane hoisting and industrial machinery lineup to reflect the production scenes of the eastern suburb industry in that year; the indoor exhibition area is composed of "preface", "eastern suburb industry tour", eastern suburb enterprise exhibition and other scene display and activity exhibition areas, with pictures and objects reflecting the life and production of eastern suburb enterprises and workers.
