Yunnan border ancient village is located 12 kilometers south of Heqing city in Dali, 54 kilometers away from Lijiang and 132 kilometers away from Dali, covering an area of about 50 mu. It is a unique residential style tourist area on Dali tourist line. The architecture here is unique, the scenery is strange, there are winding paths but not quiet, there are scenery but not charming. There are a group of Frontier people who are almost forgotten by the common customs. It is said that these frontier people used to live in the border between China and Myanmar. They have no nationality and live the life of primitive people. They cover their bodies with leaves, eat raw and cold food and live in trees.

Later, in order to solve the living problems of these people, the relevant departments of Yunnan built a Shanzhai, an ancient border village, and invited some young border people to come here to jointly develop a new tourism project to solve the living problems of border people.

According to reports, these border people do not understand the language of the local people, there is no text. To be friendly to them, to say "aha, aha," to take pictures with them, to say "click, click.". There are several rows of small thatched cottages in the courtyard of the ancient village, which look like the shacks where the melon people live in. Although the layout is not clever, it is also orderly and clean. There are skulls of unknown animals hanging on the thatched cottage. In front of the cottage are tools for defending wild animals and hunting, as well as nets on trees on the ground, which are said to be used for catching birds. The frontier people also wear clothes nowadays, men only wear a pair of black trousers, women wear bikini like clothes, and occasionally wear long shirts. They have dark skin, strong bodies, and barefoot for both men and women. The scenic area is divided into five parts: face painting and body smelling area, hunting area, welcome area, qigong area and wedding custom area. The face painting and body smelling area shows the security inspection of visitors; the hunting area shows how to catch prey in a bad environment. It's hard to catch prey in the ancient village, just to show the ability. The welcome area shows the frontier people's singing and dancing, enthusiastic and wild way to welcome the guests; the qigong power area shows the frontier people's many wonders that people can't understand, such as licking steel plate, eating charcoal, barefoot stepping on glass, catching pigs, eating leaves, chewing bark, "Birdman", "flying hunting", drinking raw blood, eating raw meat and so on. The wedding custom area shows the marriage customs of the frontier people, which are quite different from those of the world. However, there is no performance in this area, so I don't know how different it is. These ordinary and strange frontier people's way of life will make you get unexpected feelings. During the tour, some border people will come suddenly, some will shout suddenly, some will suddenly fall from the trees, some will fly back and forth between the two trees These will make you repeatedly surprised, screamed unceasingly, this may be the effect they pursue. Also, when you go to the ancient frontier villages, don't forget to bring some change, cigarettes, candy and snacks. They will come in handy. Of course, it doesn't matter if you forget.
