Zhongyan scenic spot is located on the golden tourism line 11 kilometers east of Qingshen County, opposite to Simeng estuary across Minjiang River. The main scenic area is the upper, middle and lower temples (rocks), covering an area of 26 square kilometers, with a journey of 10 Li and a peak altitude of 616 meters. It was founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and highlighted in the ancient Zhongyan of the Tang and Song dynasties. It was a famous Buddhist holy land in the early period and was the fifth "nuojunazun" Dojo of the sixteen Arhats. Its Buddhism is so great that it is as famous as Mount Emei. It is said that "there is a middle rock first and then Mount Emei". When water transportation prevailed in ancient times, there was a saying that "you first traveled to Zhongyan and then to Eshan".

The main scenic spots are linjiangxiasi, Dongpo calling fish, platform crouching tiger, Buddha cave cloud crossing, long corridor Thousand Buddhas, reclining Buddha grottoes, fairy bed lingxu, Yuquan Liubei, stone tablet forest, Lingyan stalagmite, Cuiwei overlooking, qingxijian Road, etc. In the scenic spot, there are rare trees such as Alsophila spinulosa, Ginkgo biloba and many kinds of rare wild animals. Zhongyan has become the first love place of Dongpo, which integrates religion, humanity and natural landscape, and integrates mountain, water, forest and spring.
