Zhibai village is one of the 15 villages under the jurisdiction of Pai Town, Milin County, Nyingchi Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region. The village is famous for living under Namjagbarwa peak and at the throat of the Grand Canyon. It is located in the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon Scenic Area. At the foot of Namjagbarwa peak, the Yarlung Zangbo River surrounds it.
After tourists enter the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon Scenic Area, the last scenic spot they arrive at is Zhibai village. It's only 5 kilometers away from Namjagbarwa. It's one of the best places to watch Namjagbarwa. Another best place is Sejila pass on national highway 318.
Zhibai village is located on the debris flow platform directly below the west wall of Namjagbarwa peak, above which is the zilongnong leaping glacier gully, and below which is the first U-shaped (also known as "horseshoe") bend in the entrance section of Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon. The natural history of Zhibai village is the natural disaster history of the whole Grand Canyon area. In history, the debris flow disasters caused by earthquake collapse, glacier activity and rainstorm are frequent, so the village is constantly destroyed and rebuilt. But at the same time, the dramatic landscape changes also make the place become a religious pilgrimage place with nature worship as the core. Among them, the most famous is the mountain pass known as "asunla" by the local people, which is regarded as the inner mountain pass of Namjagbarwa peak.
