Ruyuan Taxus Forest Park

Ruyuan yew Forest Park is located in the alpine Carboniferous mountain area, near 700 meters above sea level. It is located in Zhangjia natural village of Heping Village Committee, Daqiao Town, Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County. The total investment is 30 million yuan. About the park

The core scenic spot of Ruyuan yew Forest Park is the original yew viewing area, with about 30000 yew trees, of which more than 1000 trees are more than 100 years old. Other major scenic spots are: first, Taxus breeding base, with 3000 mu of Southern Taxus demonstration base built in the first phase; second, snow view area, divided into plum blossom and peach blossom snow view area; third, China's first cave - Tongtianluo underground virgin forest; fourth, Xijing ancient road, Xijing Museum, etc. It is reported that Taxus chinensis has a narrow geographical distribution, harsh growth conditions and very slow growth. It is an ancient tree species left by Quaternary glaciers, with a history of 2.5 million years. It is known as the "living fossil" in the plant kingdom, and is a rare and endangered plant in the world, known as "plant gold". According to a preliminary survey by the Tourism Bureau of the Autonomous County, Daqiao town has more than 100000 Taxus chinensis var. mairei, large and small, including 20000 Taxus chinensis var. mairei with DBH more than 5cm.

With an area of 10190 hectares, the South yew Forest Park is the most well preserved and the largest one in Guangdong Province. There are more than 100000 large and small yew trees, and thousands of trees over 100 years old. The park is located in the alpine limestone mountain area, with an average altitude of about 800 meters. It has yew primeval forest, artificial planting area, snow mountain resort, food garden, Xijing Ancient Road (including Xijing Ancient Road Museum), yew bamboo park, folk art village, etc. it is the only resort in Guangdong Province to enjoy snow and Wusong. Shaoguan baizhangya Gorge

Shaoguan baizhangya Canyon is located in Dabaoshan, the southern suburb of Shaoguan City. Donghuping Folk Culture Village

Donghuping folk culture village is the first large-scale cultural tourist area in northern Guangdong, which integrates architecture and folk customs of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Covering an area of 29 square meters, it is located on the side of national highway 323, 55 kilometers away from Shaoguan City in the West and 3 kilometers away from Shixing County in the East. Cherry Valley
