Eighteen vortexes in Pan'an

Pan'an shibawo scenic spot is a provincial scenic spot. It is located in the northeast of Pan'an County, Jinhua, Zhejiang Province. It is 2.5km away from Jianshan town and 55km away from Anwen town. It is adjacent to the 19th peak of Chuanyan mountain in Xinchang. Pan Xin highway passes through the edge of the scenic spot, with convenient transportation. In ancient times, strong orogeny and long-term erosion of water created the "Grand Canyon in central Zhejiang" spectacle. Jiaxi is the source of Cao'e River. The relative height difference between the valley and Yushan platform is more than 200 meters.

Introduction to scenic spots

The national AAAA Jiaxi eighteen vortex scenic spot is located in Jianshan town in the east of Pan'an platform, 50 kilometers away from the county seat, with convenient transportation. With a total area of 15 square kilometers and an average altitude of more than 500 meters, the scenic spot has four distinct seasons and cool climate. The average climate in summer is 22 ℃ and the maximum temperature is 26 ℃.

In ancient times, strong orogeny, topographic cutting and long-term erosion of flowing water and glaciers created the "Grand Canyon" spectacle. Professor Han Tonglin of Institute of geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, known as the "father of ice mortar", made a geological survey of the scenic spot and found the most complete preserved Jiaxi ice mortar in China so far, and left behind the "No.1 ice mortar in the world".

Jiaxi is the source of Cao'e River. The relative height difference between the valley and Pan'an platform is more than 200 meters. "Crossing the water and looking for the cliff near the mountain, where the white clouds fly, the cave opens." the steep walls on both sides of Jiaxi River face each other, and the cloud sky stands up. The narrow and winding stream and the turbulent current form numerous waterfall, whirlpool and deep pool, among which the eighteen whirlpool is the most famous. Both sides of the eighteen vortices are forced by dangerous cliffs, and the river bed of several thousand meters falls sharply. The current falls into the pool with the trend, causing an uproar. "One wave is not flat, another wave rises again." the roaring torrent drills through the cliff, forming eighteen successive dangerous vortices and deep pools. Xigudao is the "Yingbin Avenue" of eighteen vortexes. Here, the ancient stones are long, the ancient pines are towering, the green pines are the growth rings of the ancient roads, and the ancient roads are the villages of the green pines. They have lived together for thousands of years. Qi Jiguang, the famous anti Japanese general, and Liu Ku, the Deputy envoy of Jinhua Prefecture, are also here to build a village to fight against Japanese invaders and write immortal glory. In the scenic area, the ancient road is winding, the peaks are undulating, the rocks are jagged, the waterfalls and pools are exquisite, and the landscape has the characteristics of majestic, strange, dangerous, beautiful, secluded and ancient. The main scenic spots include Jiaxi ancient road, ancient pine group, eighteen vortices, ice mortar group, bamboo rafting, magic turtle watching the moon, tianniu breathing the moon, Tianma drinking water, etc.
