Jiaxing South Lake is one of the three famous lakes in Zhejiang Province. It is as famous as the West Lake in Hangzhou and the East Lake in Shaoxing. It has always been famous for its charming scenery of "light smoke blowing on the Pearl River, breeze coming".

Nanhu Lake is divided into East and West Lakes. The two lakes are connected like mandarin ducks. In ancient times, mandarin ducks often lived in the lake, so it is also called Mandarin Duck Lake.

Admission information: free admission to the scenic spot, 60 yuan by boat (including Huzhong Island, Wenshu Beiyuan, Wuxiang Temple, etc.). Half price of voucher for 1.2-1.5m children and 60-69 year olds, 20 yuan for 70 year olds and above, 20% discount for student voucher. Tickets for the red boat at the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China are 20 yuan.

Opening hours: the scenic spot is accessible all day, and the ticket selling time is 8:00-16:30 (November March next year); 8:00-17:00 (April October).
