Baise Chengbi Lake Scenic Spot

Chengbi Lake tourist resort is located 7 kilometers northeast of Baise City. It is one of the first batch of provincial scenic spots announced by the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 1988. It is one of the large reservoirs in Guangxi, with a water surface area of 39 square kilometers and a total reservoir capacity of 1.13 billion cubic meters. It is known as a "bright pearl" in Western Guangxi.

Baise Chengbi Lake scenic spot is located seven miles northeast of Baise City, the old revolutionary base area. Chengbi lake is one of the first batch of Chengbi Lake Provincial Scenic Spots announced by the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 1988.

Development history

Chengbi lake is a graceful and beautiful Chengbi lake. Chengbi lake is one of the large reservoirs in Guangxi. Chengbi lake used to be an underground river. It flows under the high mountains on the edge of Yunnan Guizhou Plateau and suddenly rushes out of lanjinling water source cave in Lingyun county. From September 1958 to September 1960, it was built by more than 70000 people in 12 counties, including Bailan, Tianyang, Tianlin, Longlin, Lingyun, Pingguo, Donglan, Fengshan and Bama, with their hands in two years. The total length of Chengbi lake is 127 kilometers, the water area of Chengbi lake is 39 square kilometers, and the total reservoir capacity of Chengbi lake is 1.13 billion cubic meters.

Chengbihu reservoir is a large-scale water conservancy project mainly for power generation and comprehensive utilization. The dam of chengbihu reservoir is a concrete core earth dam. The dam of chengbihu reservoir is 70.4m high, 425m long, 6m wide at the top and 465m wide at the bottom. There are four generating units in Bahou power plant, with a total installed capacity of 26000 kW and an average annual generating capacity of 114 million KW.
