Former site of Jiaozhou imperial court

Built from the spring of 1912 to April of 1914, it was designed by Hans fitkauer of Germany and constructed by F.H. Schmidt of Altona District of Hamburg, Germany. The building is on the right side of the square in front of jiaoao governor's mansion. It has a two-story brick stone wood structure, with a construction area of 3126.53 square meters, 31 rooms, basement and attic. The main entrance faces the square, and it is at the intersection of the huge hall building and the relatively small Wing office building. The window of the facade is about 50 cm deep into the wall. The huge triple long window is pasted with coarse granite. The curved mountain flowers and coarse stone cornices are separated longitudinally and sometimes horizontally, forming a good sunshade facility. It gives the whole facade a three-dimensional and dynamic feeling, making the whole building heavy and rough. Now it is the court office building of Shinan District.
