Fuzhou children's Park is a large modern children's amusement park, covering an area of 125 mu. The new park opened in October 2010. According to the function, the park is divided into six Parks: water playing Park, vitality Park, partner Park, Art Park, extreme sports park and amusement park, with supporting leisure service outlets.

After getting off, you can directly reach the side door of the children's Park; or take bus No. 87, 117, 310 to the zoo station, and then walk about 500 meters to the front door of the park.

Play items

There are six parks in the park, including water playing Park, vitality Park, partner Park, Art Park, extreme sports park and amusement park. Among them, the water park also includes a water war park. In the water park, there are two 30 cm deep wading areas, in which there are not only rain mushrooms, apple houses, sunflowers, but also water seesaw. In addition to seven water guns that can rotate 360 degrees to let children shoot each other, there is also a colorful rain corridor (water curtain door) for children to chase and walk through.

The water park has more than 2000 square meters, where children can experience more than 10 kinds of hydrophilic and water playing amusement projects. There are more than 20 meters long talent display wall, a small round open-air stage and an open-air curved auditorium which can accommodate more than 200 people. Extreme sports park has slide, rock climbing and other projects. There are climbing net, single wooden bridge, swing and other public facilities in the vitality park. There are rocking chairs, cabins, large slides and other amusement facilities for children to make friends in the park. During the national day, the amusement park will have large models for children to play.

Before the new year's day of 2011, the production and installation of 11 large amusement facilities in the amusement park, including double carousel, luxury bumper car, overhead revolving car, flying chair, disco turntable, cartoon castle and surf boat, will be completed. It will also build a coffee garden and set up cartoon themed activity space and children's service points.

Brief introduction of the park

Fuzhou children's Park is located in Xizhuang, Xindian Town, Jin'an District, Fuzhou City. Founded on June 1, 1990, it was relocated from the former site of Guangda road to the present site (new site) in October 2010, covering an area of 125 mu. It is a large-scale modern amusement park with a total of 40 amusement projects, suitable for tourists of all ages. The garden has luxuriant trees, luxuriant flowers and beautiful environment.

Fuzhou children's Park is adjacent to fufei road in the East, Fuzhou zoo in the West and Fuzhou National Forest Park in the north. There are three passages in the park. The main entrance faces the zoo. The main entrance gate is designed as a steel structure banyan tree, 15 meters high and 55 meters wide. It is composed of three big banyan tree crowns, forming two passageway gates, reflecting the theme of "childhood under banyan trees" park. The two secondary entrances are located on Xinyuan road and the municipal road on the same side of the main entrance, which is specially built for children's Park.

Historical evolution

Fuzhou children's Park was originally located in Guangda Road, Taijiang District, Fuzhou City, covering an area of 35 mu. It was built and opened on June 1, 1990. The green area of the park accounted for 70% of the total area. At the beginning of its construction, more than 1 million children came here every year to play. In the later stage, there was a lack of funds for repair and maintenance. The landscape of the park was aging, the plants were degenerating, the facilities were damaged, and the equipment was obsolete.

At the beginning of 2006, Fuzhou City allocated special funds for park reconstruction, but the project was stopped when it was about to start. The reason is that Fuzhou is starting the reconstruction of the central axis of 817 road. Even if funds are invested in the reconstruction, the space for revitalizing the old children's Park is very limited. Therefore, considering the overall situation, Fuzhou should choose a new location to build a new children's Park, and include the plot of the original children's Park into the overall planning of the chating block.

In 2007, the old children's Park was demolished. Fuzhou children's Park is closed.

In July 2009, Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of landscape architecture held a special public voting activity on the amusement facilities of the new children's Park. According to the final voting statistics, 15 projects, such as grand canyon rafting, Ferris wheel, music fountain, bumper boat, luxury double deck horse, small roller coaster and air dancing, are most popular among the public.

At the end of 2009, the construction of Fuzhou children's Park (new site) started.

In October 2010, Fuzhou children's Park (new site) was opened to the public free of charge.

Park Management

Fuzhou children's Park Management Office was established in March 1990 as a branch level institution. There are office, management section, business section, equipment section, and 7 teams. Mainly responsible for park construction, daily maintenance and management.
