Huatuoshan Park

Huatuoshan park is located in Dahuan community of Torch Development Zone in Zhongshan City. It is named after Huatuo temple, which was built in 1902 and is now a municipal cultural relic protection unit. The park is one of the key projects of the cultural project and people's livelihood project of the Torch Development Zone in 2010. After more than one year of construction, the first phase of the project (huatuoshan country park located in the big ring of the Torch Development Zone) was officially opened to the public on October 1, 2010.

Introduction to scenic spots

The park takes Huatuo temple, a municipal cultural relic protection unit built in 1902, as the core. The overall planning takes Huatuo as the historical context and health industry culture as the foundation. It has five central functions: natural ecology, green environmental protection, traditional Chinese medicine physiotherapy, sports and leisure. Among them, Huatuo temple is located on the hillside of the park, sitting from northeast to southwest, with a layout of one in and three rooms. Along the mountain, there are many scenic spots, such as Huatuo statue, Yaoxiang garden, relief wall, octagonal pagoda on the top of the mountain and so on. These scenic spots give Huatuo mountain park an image of a paradise with evergreen seasons, unbroken flowers, deep deposits and fresh elegance.

Huatuo Mountain Park covers an area of 38.05 hectares, with the highest altitude of 116.65 meters. The octagonal pagoda, Huatuo statue, Yaoxiang garden, relief wall, Huatuo temple and many other scenic spots in the park outline a paradise with evergreen all the year round, endless flowers, rich heritage, fresh and elegant. Among them, Huatuo temple, located on the hillside of the park, is the central scenic spot of the park. It was built in the Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 94 square meters from the northeast to the southwest. It has a hard mountain top and a three room layout. It is a place for people around to pray for health and safety.

Shortcut to play

The park is located at the intersection of Kangle Avenue and Damao highway in torch District, with a large parking lot at the main entrance. People in the urban area can walk along Zhongshan Road to the East, and you can easily find the entrance to the park in the Dahuan section of Da Mao highway. As for the residents of torch district who live in Zhangjiabian, science and technology new town and other places, huatuoshan park is the "free oxygen bar" at their door.

The mountain is 116.65 meters above sea level, neither high nor low. The climbing path has both stairs and gentle mountain road, which can meet the needs of people with different endurance.
