Wenzhou Medical University, formerly known as Wenzhou Medical College, is a provincial university in Zhejiang Province and a key construction university in Zhejiang Province. There are four campuses, two of which are located in Wenzhou City. The new campus is located in Chashan Higher Education Park, Ouhai District, Wenzhou City, and the Binhai campus is located in Dongtou County, Wenzhou City, with a total area of 1800 Mu and a building area of more than 550000 square meters. The predecessor of the school can be traced back to Zhejiang medical school founded in Hangzhou in 1912
