Introduction to the website: the University of national defense science and technology is a national key comprehensive university under the dual leadership of the Ministry of national defense and the Ministry of education. It is listed in the key construction of the national "985 Project" and "211 Project". The predecessor of the school is the military engineering college founded in 1953 in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, referred to as "Harbin military engineering". In 1970, the main body of the University moved south to Changsha and was renamed Changsha Institute of technology. In 1978, it was rebuilt as National Defense University of science and technology. The school is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province, China, covering a total area of 373 hectares.
