A broken Temple deep in the jungle
No concern for pilgrims
A monk is lonely
Isolated from the rest of the world
Wearing patched monk's clothes
The cold wind blows through the rags
A watchdog is skinny
Three meals a day to eat grass based
The gods in the temple are broken and mottled
Still pose and stare
The curtain in front of the shrine
There are huge black pearls
The monk is not supervised
Still chanting sutras and praising Buddha
It's all up to you to plough and hoe
I don't dare to catch the prey that can be used as meat dishes
Getting up late looks busy
Work hard, never know hard
Once in a while, I come here to stop on my way
Fasting is waiting and the way down the mountain is indicated
If it's a young benefactor
Scared the monk to recite Amitabha
Year after year, the monk becomes old
Having Buddha in your heart, doing good is just a mantle
How can we turn a blind eye to helping young scholars
The wealth of the powerful is something outside of the body
The way to improve one's health
Having Buddha in your heart, doing good is just a mantle
Lonely, quiet and refined
Tea light food rough wear intestines are dirty
Painstaking efforts to become a Buddha in the afterlife
A broken Temple deep in the jungle
No concern for pilgrims
A monk is lonely
Isolated from the rest of the world
Wearing patched monk's clothes
The cold wind blows through the rags
