Shandong Police College is a school with glorious revolutionary tradition. Its predecessor is Shandong Police Academy, which was founded in Linyi, Shandong Province in 1946. At present, the college mainly undertakes two tasks: one is to train full-time public security undergraduate and junior college students; the other is to undertake the training task of Shandong Province, the whole country and foreign police. It is one of the two training bases for county and city public security bureau directors determined by the Ministry of public security, and one of the national foreign aid training bases determined by the Ministry of public security and the Ministry of Commerce. Since 2006, it has undertaken the training task of foreign police. Over the past 60 years, under the leadership of the Shandong provincial Party committee, the provincial government, the provincial public security department and the provincial education department, the college has always adhered to the political construction of the police and the school, adhered to the initiative to serve the actual needs of the police, adhered to the cultivation of applied talents, adhered to the strict management of the police and the school, trained and transported more than 50000 qualified talents for the public security organs at all levels, and built and promoted the construction of "safe Shandong" Harmonious society, promote economic development has made a positive contribution. The college has become a university for training senior police professionals, a training base for on-the-job police officers and a research center for public security science and technology. Three wide-ranging undergraduate majors of investigation, public security and criminal science and technology and three specialized majors of investigation, public security management and criminal technology are set up. According to the needs of public security work, several specialized directions are set up. The college has 33 laboratories including police weapons, trace inspection, document inspection, forensic medicine, criminal laboratory, criminal audio-visual, scene investigation, explosion-proof and explosive disposal, lie detection, etc., with a total value of more than 23 million yuan of teaching equipment. There are two independent campus LANs, which are respectively connected with "China Education and research network" and "public security special network". It has two libraries with 630000 books and a modern e-book system. Journal of Shandong Police College, a national excellent journal of Social Sciences, is published regularly. The college has actively carried out foreign exchange activities, organized several group visits and received visits from police agencies or police academies in many countries. In addition, it has established good academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation with the police of Hong Kong and Macao and the actual combat departments of public security inside and outside the province. Entrusted by the Ministry of public security and the Ministry of Commerce, several training courses for foreign police have been held since 2006. Senior police officers from 15 countries including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, North Korea, Turkey, Madagascar and Dominica have been trained in our hospital, which has promoted the friendship and cooperation between our hospital and foreign police colleagues.
