Sichuan Police College

Sichuan police college is the only full-time undergraduate college of politics, law and public security in Sichuan Province, which is organized by Sichuan Provincial People's government and jointly managed by Sichuan Provincial Department of education and Sichuan Provincial Department of public security. In 2011, it took the lead in carrying out the postgraduate education of police master's degree in provincial public security universities.

The school is the police training base of the Ministry of public security in Sichuan Province, the international peacekeeping police selection and training center of the Ministry of public security, the police training base of the Sichuan Provincial Public Security Department, the police psychological training base of the Sichuan Provincial Public Security Department, and the combat training base of the Sichuan Provincial Public Security Department. Since its founding 67 years ago, the school has trained more than 60000 professionals for the public security political and legal teams in Sichuan, western regions and the whole country, and trained more than 8500 heroes, models and meritorious officials. It is known as "the cradle of police, the melting pot of heroes and the casting place of spirit".

At present, there are 348 full-time and part-time teachers (47 in regular and higher vocational education, 91 in deputy vocational education, 233 in master's and doctor's degree), 18 in police postgraduate and 5994 in undergraduate. There are nine undergraduate majors.
