The Ree Hotel School of management in Beijing International Studies University is a full-time regular institution of Higher Education approved by the Ministry of education in 2008. As the only university in China that has obtained the academic certification of Lausanne Hotel Management College in Switzerland, the college runs a school closely around the demand for talents in the tourism and hotel industry, aiming at cultivating applied senior professionals, and taking the hotel management major as the characteristic, it constantly explores the training mode of Applied Talents.

Adhering to the school running philosophy of "internationalization, application-oriented, learning from Lausanne" and "education and teaching", and practicing the school motto of "learning for practical use", the college closely links with the industry, serves the industry, and strives to cultivate students into senior management talents with good professional ethics, professional quality and professional skills, who can stay in hotels, are popular and develop.

The school has fully introduced the school running concept and talent training mode of Switzerland's Lausanne School of hotel management, which has a history of 120 years and ranks first in the world. The credits of the two schools are mutually recognized. At present, it only offers hotel management major, enrolling nearly 4000 students nationwide.

Located in Panggezhuang Town, Daxing District, Beijing, the college covers an area of 300 mu, with a total construction area of 101000 square meters and a total investment of 500 million yuan. The campus is composed of two parts: teaching administrative area and life service area. The teaching equipment is complete and advanced, the life supporting facilities are perfect and convenient, the campus environment is beautiful and quiet, the security facilities are complete, and the teaching resources of hotel management specialty with distinctive characteristics and complete functions can fully meet the theoretical and practical teaching needs of students majoring in hotel management.

According to the goal of Application-oriented University, the college actively explores school enterprise cooperation and establishes off campus practice and employment base. The college has established good cooperative relations with world-famous hotel management groups such as Starwood, Marriott, Accor, Shangri La, Kempinski, Hyatt and Hilton, and signed internship employment agreements with more than 200 famous hotels in 28 provinces and cities, Macao, Singapore, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. The college has distinctive characteristics, graduates are widely welcomed by the industry and society, and has achieved the goal of "100% employment, good career" for several years in a row.

The college adheres to the establishment of an independent and self owned teaching staff, focuses on the characteristics of the college, recruits teachers through various channels, and independently implements the evaluation and employment of professional titles. The reasonable structure of teachers provides a strong guarantee for the full realization of the goal of talent training. As of March 2015, there are 330 teaching staff in the hospital, including 209 full-time teachers, 60% of whom are senior hotel managers with rich experience; 21 foreign teachers and teachers with overseas education or work background, 65 staff with senior professional titles, 146 with master's degree or above. The college also employs a group of famous experts and scholars at home and abroad as consultants, visiting professors or part-time professors to guide and participate in teaching.

The college actively carries out international exchanges, and has established close ties with universities and scientific research institutions in Switzerland, the United States, Singapore, Australia, Sweden and other countries through student learning and internship, mutual visits of scholars, personnel training and other forms. Every year, nearly 100 teachers and students of our college go abroad to exchange learning and internship.

Through unremitting efforts, sinorui's school running mode has been affirmed by national leaders, Ministry of education, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Lausanne Hotel Management College, hotel industry and students' parents.
