Guilin Medical College

Guilin Medical College is an ordinary undergraduate college directly under Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It was founded in 1935 and has the right to confer master's degree. From November 26 to December 1, 2006, our university accepted the undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of education. According to the evaluation opinions of the expert group and the opinions of the expert committee of the Ministry of education, the Ministry of education has determined that the evaluation conclusion of our university is "excellent".

At present, the campus covers a total area of 847993.26 square meters (1272 mu), including Lequn, Dongcheng and Lingui campuses, of which the new campus is under construction.

The university has 15 secondary colleges (departments) including basic medical college, clinical medical college, nanxishan clinical medical college, the second clinical medical college, the third clinical medical college, pharmacy college, biotechnology college, nursing college, continuing education college, International Education College, humanities and Social Sciences Department, University Foreign Language Department, sports Department, medical laboratory department, stomatology department, etc There were 5 hospitals and 22 clinical teaching hospitals.

The school has a team of teachers with reasonable structure and high quality. There are 2088 teaching staff and medical staff in the whole school, of which 40.51% are full-time teachers with senior professional titles, and 59.68% are full-time teachers with doctor's and master's degrees. There are 120 master's tutors, 3 doctoral tutors, and 7 people who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council government. Four of them have been rated as national excellent teachers and excellent educators, three of them have been rated as famous teaching teachers in Guangxi universities, and four of them have been selected as the second level candidates of Guangxi "one hundred thousand talents project".

The school has 22 specialties and professional directions, including clinical medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology, nursing, medical examination, Stomatology, preventive medicine, pharmaceutical preparations, marketing, etc., among which clinical medicine is the key specialty of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The undergraduate program is open to 18 provinces and autonomous regions in China. At present, there are 11683 students, including 7179 full-time students and 195 graduate students.

The school actively carries out foreign exchange and cooperation.
