Hebei Institute of Environmental Engineering

Hebei Institute of environmental engineering, formerly known as China Institute of environmental management, is a full-time public institution of higher learning jointly established by Hebei provincial government and the Ministry of environmental protection in 1981 with the approval of the Ministry of environmental protection and the record of the Ministry of education. It is one of the earliest universities in China to carry out environmental education and is known as the "Huangpu Military Academy" and environmentalist of environmental protection system "Green cradle" of talent cultivation. Hebei Institute of environmental engineering is an ordinary university with undergraduate level, which is under the leadership and management of Hebei provincial government. It mainly cultivates applied and skilled talents needed by regional economic and social development.

Beidaihe New Campus, covering an area of more than 800 mu, has been put into use in 2014. A modern campus featuring ecological environmental protection demonstration, harmony between man and nature, advanced concept and culture is welcoming students from all over the world with a new attitude.

The college has 8 departments, 3 departments and 3 centers, 10 undergraduate majors and 38 junior majors, with 145 professors and 6500 students.

The college attaches great importance to the construction of specialty and curriculum, and has built two national excellent resource sharing courses, one provincial excellent resource sharing course, two national excellent courses and ten provincial excellent courses. The college has identified 8 key construction majors, of which 3 are rated as provincial demonstration majors and 2 are rated as provincial demonstration majors; the teaching team of environmental pollution control technology series courses and environmental art design teaching team are rated as provincial excellent teaching team; The training bases of environmental monitoring and treatment technology and environmental art design are supported by the central government.
