Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics

Lanzhou business college, formerly known as Gansu Staff College of Finance and economics, was established in 1958 with the approval of the State Council in July 1981. It is the only financial college with undergraduate education in Gansu, Qinghai and Ningxia. In July 1998, according to the spirit of the relevant documents of the State Council, the school implemented the management system of Co Construction between the central and local governments, with local governments as the main body.

At present, the school has two campuses, duanjiatan and Heping, covering an area of more than 1300 mu, with a total construction area of 414700 square meters, a total value of 46.6997 million yuan of teaching and scientific research equipment, and a library collection of 1.6482 million books. It is an important economic and management literature and Information Center in Gansu Province. The university enrolls students nationwide, with more than 500 full-time graduate students, nearly 13000 undergraduates and more than 5000 adult education students.

The school has 14 secondary colleges and physical education department, including economy and trade, finance, business administration, accounting, statistics, information engineering, foreign languages, art, business media, law, finance and public administration, agricultural and forestry economic management, Marxism, and continuing education; it also has economic research institute, Dunhuang business Culture Research Institute, financial planning and Development Research Center, and Western Economic Development Research Center There are 16 research institutes (centers) such as the center, the training center for certified public accountants and the Institute of law and business.

The school has 1186 teaching staff, including 739 full-time teachers, more than 300 teachers with the titles of professor and associate professor, and more than 400 teachers with doctoral and master's degrees. The school adheres to education oriented, quality first, scientific research to promote teaching, and actively plays the role of scientific research and social service. Since 2004, the university has undertaken 102 National, provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects, 5 international cooperation projects, won more than 60 provincial and ministerial level scientific research awards, published more than 4000 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals, including more than 300 papers collected in SCI, EI, ISTP, CSSCI and other citation retrieval systems at home and abroad, and published 180 academic monographs and teaching materials, which have been used by Gansu Province and Northwest China Economic and social development has provided strong support. After 50 years of construction and development, the university has trained and transported 36000 economic and management professionals for the country, especially for the economic and social development of Northwest China.
