Lishui University is a public full-time undergraduate university, which is located in Lishui City, a national ecological demonstration area known as "beautiful mountains and beautiful waters, healthy and blessed land". Its school running history can be traced back to Chuzhou normal school in 1907. In May 2004, on the basis of the merger of Lishui normal college and Lishui vocational and technical college, it was upgraded and renamed Lishui college with the approval of the Ministry of education. In May 2010, it successfully passed the teaching qualification assessment of the newly established undergraduate colleges and universities of the Ministry of education. The school is a civilized unit of Zhejiang Province, an advanced unit of national spiritual civilization construction, an advanced collective of national sports and a model unit of national greening. The campus covers an area of 980 mu, with a building area of 320000 square meters. The library has a collection of 1.45 million paper books, more than 2000 periodicals, 630000 e-books, more than 1.96 million master's and doctoral theses, and has built a highly digitized information network service platform. There are 22 experimental (training) rooms (centers). The university has 39 undergraduate majors, covering economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, agriculture, management, medicine and other disciplines. There are more than 11700 full-time students. There are 1084 on-the-job teaching staff, including 722 full-time teachers; 307 full-time teachers with professional and technical positions of deputy high school or above, 518 teachers with master's degree or above, 3 teachers with special allowance from the State Council, 14 selected into the "151 talent project" of the province, 18 middle-aged and young discipline leaders of provincial universities, and 1 famous teaching teacher of provincial universities. There are 3 provincial teaching teams, 5 provincial key disciplines, 7 provincial key construction majors, 1 provincial advantage major and 15 provincial excellent courses. In recent years, he has presided over 20 national science and technology support projects, National Natural Science Foundation, national social science planning projects, and more than 120 provincial and ministerial level projects. It has won the first prize of Liangxi forestry science and technology and the second prize of provincial philosophy and social science outstanding achievements. Based on the reality of newly built local undergraduate colleges, the university takes scientific development as the theme, changes the development mode and talent training mode of the University as the main line, and implements the development strategy of "building the university with quality, strengthening the university with talents, prospering the university with characteristics, and casting the University with culture". In personnel training, scientific research, social services and other aspects, we have highlighted the locality, developed the applicability, and focused on cultivating school running characteristics. We have established two collaborative innovation centers, namely, a new college with local characteristics and serving local construction, and the development and utilization of characteristic biological resources in Lishui mountain area of Zhejiang Province, and Longquan celadon. Bamboo cultivation and utilization, celadon culture, she culture, Chuzhou culture and history, Chinese herbal medicine technology development and other research achievements, and has a certain influence in China. The school actively carries out foreign exchange and cooperation, builds an international exchange platform, promotes the internationalization of education, and constantly improves the quality of talent training. In accordance with the "three-step" development strategy, the university is striving to be the first-class among the similar local undergraduate colleges and universities in China and strive to build a local comprehensive university.
